I am using the "Erstellungsdatum" on one of my pages and when get the value of it using
Meldedatum = Browser.getValue(getElement("C171949C248728E4050920AAB77AB35FC4905270"));
the result is " " (empty with a single space character).
I am adjusting the code to use document.getElementById and I get " ". I have tried using replace
Meldedatum = Meldedatum.replace(/[^a-zA-Z 0-9]+/g,'');
but is still leaves "nbsp" for the date.
Is there anyway to remove this space in the Erstellungdatum so that result for both is "" (empty no space)?
Thank you in advance

you could use Helper.trim(Meldedatum), but maybe i don't understand the question...

Hello Martin, yes I tried trim() and still it displays   as a value.
What I am trying to do is hide field on a page until the erstellungsdatum is filled. With Browser.getElement, this works, with document.getElementById it is showing a value for the datum.
In the console I got it working with Meldedatum.replace(/ /g,''); but when I put this into Intrexx it fails, it keeps showing the fields that are suppose to be blocked and saying erstellungsdatum has value  .
I was just wondering if there was a way to remove this
